On the 28th of May, RISE-IN was presented by Alessandro De Carli (Ambiente Italia) during the LIFE CLIMAX PO project’s roundtable titled “PREVENTION AND PROTECTION MEASURES FOR THE SAFEGUARDING OF URBANISED AREAS: Territories Facing Hydrogeological Risk and Climate Change” (“MISURE DI PREVENZIONE E PROTEZIONE A PRESIDIO DEGLI AMBITI URBANIZZATI. I TERRITORI ALLA PROVA DEL RISCHIO IDROGEOLOGICO E DEI CAMBIAMENTI CLIMATICI”).
The seminar took place in Como, at the Conference Hall of the Insubria Regional Territorial Office, from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM, as part of the seminar series “Adapting to a Changing Climate: A Path of Knowledge and Action”, promoted within the LIFE CLIMAX PO project.
The event brought together representatives from public bodies, technical experts, administrations, and land management stakeholders to discuss the measures needed to strengthen prevention, planning, and adaptive capacity in response to the increasingly evident impacts of the climate crisis and hydrogeological risk in urbanised territories.
