On 2 June, Green Party co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick and fellow Members of Parliament Mike Davidson and Kahurangi Carter met with Christchurch City Council's Dave Little in the city's red zone to learn more about the RISE-IN project.
Dave Little delivered an overview of the project at Avebury House before accompanying the group on a site visit in the red zone. The discussion was constructive and wide-ranging, with the MPs demonstrating a strong interest in the project through thoughtful questions and engaging in a broader conversation about approaches to funding environmental initiatives.
