The Centro do Clima da Póvoa de Varzim was recently highlighted during an Erasmus mobility visit in Portugal, organised as part of a programme focused on observing how associations and movements work on the ground around the theme of water.
Following a visit to the Alto river basin, representatives from the Centro do Clima and BIOPOLIS-CIBIO presented ongoing initiatives aimed at mitigating flooding and addressing the impacts of climate change across the territory. Particular attention was given to the RISE-IN, which formed part of the presentations shared with participants.
The exchange provided a valuable opportunity for mutual learning and the sharing of experiences among all those involved. The organisers expressed their gratitude to the participants from APC Articolo Uno – Progetti Erasmus+ Mobilità Adulti for contributing to this exchange of knowledge and experiences. Special thanks were also extended to the Junta de Freguesia de Estela for its hospitality and for accompanying the guided visit and knowledge-sharing activities.
